Autumn in Alaska + Item Portrait
Leaves turning from gold to rotten brown happen very fast in fall time anywhere, but up here in Alaska (the the Artice Circle in general) with the turning of leaves comes the bitter chill of uncoming winter. Game of Thrones quote anyone? Winter IS coming.
Today on the 24th of September, I was lucky enough to snag a bit of sun for some fall photos. The leaves have mostly fallen and already rotten on the ground, but it can still become quite a contrast itself. The violin is my uncles that I recieved through some confused means. The necklace is a birthday present from my best friend I will always cherish.
Point and Shoot Session 1
For a 12 pixel point and shoot digital, it can take some cute pics. Macro still has much to be desired on this one though...
All in all, these are my favorites.
Portraits of a fellow photo friend!
My portrait assignment from 2013's Basic Photography class. The model is a friend of mine whose passion for photos greatly outweights mine <3 Loaf her to death though! I've learned some things from her I will never forget when it comes to pictures.
